Job summary

The Business Development Manager (BDM) identifies, manages and closes deals with new & existing opportunities & contacts. Managing client relationships with a current and growing portfolio, the Primary Purpose is to help OES and Construct establish its place in the American market, by securing new partners and generating new business. You will be employed by Construct, but have dotted line reporting to the OES team in Australia. Whilst OES are developed in Australia and the UK, this is a new market and function, and is best suited to someone comfortable working in a greenfield space, and is energised by shaping the future of this function.

For this role, you should be passionate about people—creating meaningful, long-lasting relationships both with your client stakeholders and with your co-workers around the globe. You should be detail-oriented and enjoy the process so much that when there isn't a process, you take pride in creating one. You should be both keenly independent and deeply collaborative— relish working without oversight, but communicate early and often with your project teams.


USA (remote, but ideally East Coast)

Required attributes:

Motivated, adaptable, and process-orientated

Education/Experience level:

5+ years in the education industry with an understanding of the global context of Education delivery.
