Jesus College partners with Construct to design unique online course on edX

Jesus College is made up of a diverse community of undergraduates, postgraduates, Fellows, and staff that encourage open academic inquiry into the key issues of today.  In 2021 Jesus College selected Construct to help design a one-of-a-kind course that brings together survivors, academics, and practitioners to explore the following:
  • the role individuals can play in addressing sexual harassment and violence, 
  • what options for action are available when we see this kind of behavior, 
  • and how to stay safe as an active bystander. 
The course is led by Dr. Sarah Steele, Deputy Director of Jesus College’s Intellectual Forum and a Senior Research Associate specializing in the main themes explored in this training. Construct worked collaboratively with the Jesus College team of experts to map out the content for the course and because of our experience working on the edX platform,  provided guidance on how to write the content for edX. To ensure a rich and impactful learning experience Construct developed an engaging mix of media with the goal to push learners into the verified route.
